Teachers at St. Ann's are called to form a faith
community where students can discover the Catholic attitude and values in the
lives of those who teach them. The
school selects teachers both for their effectiveness in teaching subject matter
and for their ability to affect student growth. The members of the St. Ann's faculty are all graduates from
accredited colleges or universities holding a minimum Bachelor of Arts degree on
up to a Master's degree. Teachers
are concerned with the Catholic philosophy of education, professional
competency, student behavior and learning outcomes.
St. Ann's School is a model demonstration school where
the faculty uses the Direct Instruction and Cooperative Learning models in the
classroom.
